A Chicken in Every Pot

Elon Musk wants to create 10 billion robots... including one for every person. It's like a chicken in every pot.
Think of the benefits.
The robots could prevent crime.
The problem is what is your definition of crime? Which crimes would it prevent?
Would crimes like fornication, adultery and rape be included?
If so... that means there would have to be a robot monitoring that activity.
It would have to determine if you're married to know if you're committing fornication. It would have to know who your spouse is to determine if you're committing adultery. It would have to determine if there was consent in order to know if you're committing rape.
And think of all of the recorded instances it would save for future reference and broadcast.
What if you're a teetotalling Southern Baptist? It would have to make allowances for alcohol.
What if you're a Muslim? It would have to prevent you from drinking alcohol, eating haram, and smoking but would allow for sex with minors.
Maybe they would allow you to change the settings from Southern Baptist to Muslim whenever you want.
This could cause a major rift with religions.
