Daniel 9:24-27

[24]Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

[25]Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

[26]And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

[27]And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Here is what happens in Daniel's 70th week... Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city:

1. to finish the transgression

2. to make an end of sins

3. to make reconciliation for iniquity

4. to bring in everlasting righteousness

5. to seal up the vision and prophecy

6. to anoint the most Holy.

Sin ends.

Everlasting righteousness begins.

- Jesus is the Messiah the Prince.

- Jesus is the Messiah who is cut off.

- Jesus is the Prince not the devil.

- Jesus will cause the nations, his people, to destroy the city and the sanctuary... again.

- Jesus will then destroy the world.

- Jesus will confirm his covenant... the New Covenant.

- Jesus will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.

When you realize the prince in verse 26 is Jesus then the people of the prince are the nations and Jesus is the one who is in control and causing everything to take place... not the devil.

Sin ends with Daniel's 70th week. That means the millennium HAS to take place DURING Daniel's 70th week not AFTER.

I see this happening in 1 of 2 ways.

1. There is a 1,000 year pause IN Daniel's 70th week.

2. The millennium takes place in heaven for 1,000 years.

How is #2 possible? A day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day.

I think the millennium is on God's timeline in heaven and that equates to a day on earth's timeline.

The 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse are of God.

The rider on the white horse has the rainbow of God. He is given a crown... the power and authority of God. After the devil is cast out of heaven he will go to earth and will cast out of his mouth water as a flood. The rider on the white horse will thwart the devil's plans.

The rider on the red horse is given a sword. Jesus said: Matthew 10:34 [34]Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Based on what Nelson pointed out Daniel's 70th week has to be reimagined.

I'm not changing my timeline. I think it's solid. My understanding of Daniel's 70th week will continue to change.

The devil does not get any glory because... to thine be the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Thankyou Nelson Walters for opening my eyes. I'm just 5 years late.
