Jesus will show his great power and his great glory to the world at the Second Coming. The Rapture is just one part of that epic event. The first thing to admit about the Rapture is... the Rapture is not about 'us'. The Rapture is all about Jesus.
The 3 Spring feasts point to the death, burial and resurrection.
The 3 Fall feasts point to The Second Coming.
The 3 Spring feasts take place in the month of Nisan, the first month of the Jewish year. That is usually March or April on the Gregorian calendar. Jesus fulfilled the 3 Spring feasts with his death, burial and resurrection.
The 3 Fall feasts take place in the month of Tishri, the seventh month of the Jewish year. That is usually September or October on the Gregorian calendar. Jesus will fulfill the 3 Fall feasts with The Second Coming.
To put it simply, the Second Coming will take place in the month of Tishri one day.
That is The Second Coming Oversimplified.
If the Second Coming takes place in 2028 or 2029 then it will be in the month of September. That means the Covenant with Many will take place 1335 days prior, in January of 2025 or 2026... which is currently less than 2 or 3 years away.
That also means the devil will be kicked out of Heaven very soon. Once the devil is kicked out of heaven then every creature which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, or in the sea will say Revelation 5:13: "Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever". John heard them in heaven and he heard them down on the earth. I believe we will literally hear this take place on earth as well, if we're paying attention.
After the devil is kicked out of heaven and all of earth praises the Lamb then the antichrist will make a covenant with many. The 1st 4 seals will be opened and the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse will go about killing 1/4 part of the earth or 2 billion people. This calamity will cause men to start the sacrifices again as they try to appease an angry 'God'.
Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies. The antichrist will receive a deadly wound to the head and die. He will come back to life, go into the temple, sit down and declare himself to be God. That will start 75 days of Great Tribulation.
The 2 witnesses will come to earth. The 144,000 are sealed and come to earth. An idol will be made. There's no mention of how long it will take to make the idol. It may be days, weeks or a month or two. Who knows. But people will be required to worship the idol and take the mark of the beast in their hand or forehead or be killed. The devil really just wants to use the mark to identify the believers so he can kill them.
The Feast of Trumpets will begin 10 days before the end of the Great Tribulation. The angels will go about making their proclamations during these 10 days. This is why the last 10 days of the Great Tribulation will be the most intense. The devil will see and hear the angels and he will set out to destroy the entire world during this time. Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should be no flesh be saved... Revelation 2:10 ... and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death...
Note: The 2nd angel announces the destruction of Babylon. Babylon was destroyed a long time ago. However, Peter referred to the church in Jerusalem as "at Babylon". 1 Peter 5:13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.
And the bible teaches that Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies at this time as well. Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
The Second Coming will start on the Day of Atonement with various signs and wonders. There will be an earthquake followed by a simultaneous solar and lunar eclipse, the stars (saints) will fall from heaven to the earth, the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, then the sign of the Son of Man, the shout, the trumpet, then Jesus coming in the clouds... followed by the resurrection, the dead in Christ rising first, the Rapture, those who remain will taste death when they see Jesus (Matthew 16:28) and then they shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
The Second Coming will take about 5 days to complete. Pre-Trib Rapture preachers preach an instantaneous, mysterious, immediate event that takes everybody by surprise. There is no great power and no great glory for Jesus in a Second Coming if The Second Coming is over in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.
What day will people be Raptured on? Do you mean the dead in Christ or those who remain? There are two groups of people. The dead in Christ will rise first. They will probably start going up around day 2 for 2 or 3 days. Those who remain will start going up around day 4 or 5, I imagine.
Remember: There are probably MILLIONS of believers coming from heaven to earth to be part of the dead in Christ who rise first. This part of the Second Coming could take HOURS.
Which group are you going to be in? The Dead in Christ or one of those who remains? They don't all Rapture at the same time. This is why nobody knows the day nor the hour.
Pay close attention to Rapture passages. Let me know if you find one that says we come back with Jesus at the Second Coming. The dead in Christ rise first. But nothing says we come back with Jesus, go down to earth and then get Raptured back up. There has to be a way for all of the believers currently in heaven to come down to heaven to be Raptured back up. I think that is covered by Matthew 24:29 where it says "the stars fall from heaven" and Revelation 6:13 "and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth".
Why does the Second Coming take place over a 5 day period?
Because 7 years is 2555 days.
Everybody accounts for the 2520 days.
Everybody accounts for the 2550 days.
Nobody accounts for the 'missing' 5 days.
The Second Coming completes Daniel's 70th week because it starts on the Day of Atonement and that period lasts 5 days.
The feast of Booths is fulfilled when the heavenly host is gathered up in heaven and the 7th seal is opened then there is 30 minutes of silence as all of heaven waits for God to start pouring out His wrath.
